Bringing more than 25 years of nursing, management and leadership experience to Vitalchat, Diane King, MBA/HCM, MSN/Ed, RN, CCRN-K, was recently welcomed to the team as Vice President of Nursing. She is responsible for guiding frontline operations and driving interdisciplinary teams toward seamless patient-provider logistics and organizational growth through person-centered technology.
Diane is adept in managing inpatient units, patient flow and throughput, collaborating with stakeholders to successfully improve quality, efficiency and safety throughout the care journey.
Merging frontline caregiver knowledge with robust business expertise to ensure hospital systems’ demands are consistently and strategically met, she has extensive experience improving patient accessibility in niche areas of care — including Level I tertiary academic facilities and rural communities.
Prior to Vitalchat, Diane was Nursing Director at a critical access hospital, overseeing all nursing operations. Still engaged at the patient bedside, she simultaneously works as a per-diem Hospice RN. Diane also held several supervisory roles at a top Phoenix healthcare institution and spent 20 years in additional RN positions covering specialized areas, such as critical care and clinical instruction.
Heavily involved in the healthcare community, she is a member and volunteer Ambassador of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) and co-authored two medical journal publications.
